Orders and pricing
Final terms should explain when an order is accepted, how pricing errors are handled, product availability, cancellations and any restrictions that apply to trade accounts.
Product compatibility
The policy should explain the customer’s responsibility to check model and part numbers, how compatibility information is provided, and what happens if the wrong part is ordered.
Payment and delivery
The final version should identify accepted payment methods, delivery areas, delivery estimates, risk of loss and what happens when a delivery is delayed or cannot be completed.
Returns and refunds
Return windows, exclusions, inspection requirements, damaged items, electrical/electronic part restrictions and refund timing should be stated clearly before launch.
Business accounts
Wholesale verification requirements, account suspension, pricing eligibility and misuse of trade accounts should be covered in the final business terms.
